My adorable niece may have gotten my sweet husband sick this weekend. He woke up this morning with a sore throat and actually took a short nap after work this evening. While I am the queen of naps, my husband never lays down when he’s tired, so I know he must not be feeling very well.
I made a quick dinner from weekend leftovers and spent the evening watching Deadliest Catch and The Alaska Experiment on the Discovery Channel. We sat together on the couch and capped off the evening with a small bowl of buttery popcorn.
We’re often busy in the evening and it was nice to slow things down and do a whole lot of nothing for the night. It was especially nice to spend a few quality hours together.
