Thank you for your comment. I am sorry for your loss. I had a chemical pregnancy the month before I conceived my son and although I wasn't pregnant for long I still took time to mourn. I can totally understand weaning things as a means to help cope with your loss. I attempted to create a donation pile yesterday but I am having an unbelievably difficult time parting with his things. I didn't imagine that would be the case and I am surprised by how dearly I want to hold on to his tiny sleepers and other adorable baby things. As I mentioned it took us awhile to conceive number one so I know for certain that number two could take awhile and as with everything in life is never guaranteed. I wish you all the best as well.

It's hard to decide. I kept everything, all my friends were having kids and I hoped to be pregnant within 2 years of having my son. My sister had a little boy when my son turned 2, they were perfectly on the same seasons. All clothes and toys were handed down to her. Once my son turned 3 and I wasn't pregnant yet, I started going through things. I tried to sell some stuff and donated others. It was really just the things I decided I didn't really like the first time around or wouldn't be useful when there were 2 kids. I found out I was pregnant in September and due 2 days after my son's 4th birthday. Talk about timing, everything I saved could be used again! Unfortunately, I lost that pregnancy a few weeks ago. I started going through things again this week; kinda my way of dealing with the miscarriage and I'm finding even more I'm willing to part with. I was going to comment on your previous post about when you know you're ready for #2, you're never ready and it's not guaranteed it will happen right away. I wish you the best.
