2. Pressure Relief Valve
This valve is located on top of the water heater. When the tank is over pressurized, the valve breaks to release some of the pressure. The condition and operation of the valve should be tested to prevent any damages in the future.
3. Flushing out the system
Every six months, the water heater should be flushed out. This will eliminate any sediments that may have accumulated in the tank. It will also help to increase the efficiency of the tank.
