A very cool retirement projection calculator

May 7, 2006 by One Frugal Girl 1 Comment

Ask the Expert, Walter Updegrave, from money.cnn.com has a great answer to a question from a 33 year old reader wondering about early retirement. In essence the reader wants to know if he can retire by age 55. The article contains a link to a great projection calculator that determines just how much income an individual could draw from his/her investments at retirement. The values are based on how much money you currently have in retirement accounts plus how much money you are contributing each year. To check out the calculator click here.

Hi, I think my java retirement calculator gives you much more controls on the underlying assumptions of returns/inflation rates, and other important parameters that can easily change your retirement picture.
