How Does Your Salary Compare?

April 15, 2007 by One Frugal Girl Leave a Comment

Parade Magazine, (the insert in the Washington Post), has a couple of interesting articles this weekend, included under the heading What People Earn.

The first article: How Did You Do? compares the salaries of every day people against celebrities, politicians, and athletes. In addition it provides some interesting comments about the average workers perception of inflation.

The second article: Are you Working Too Hard? discusses the importance of flexibility and control over ones working hours and environment.

The third article: The Pursuit of Happiness introduces the reader to ten different individuals who threw caution to the wind to pursue their passions and alter their careers. For someone who is less than fond of her job, I have to admit I found this article quite inspiring.

If you’re inspired read Do You Want to Change Your Career for advice on how to follow your dreams.
