One Frugal Girl

A Short but Memorable Trip

April 1, 2009 by One Frugal Girl 2 Comments

My husband and I hooked work yesterday. Okay, we’re too goody-goody for hooking work, but we did take the day off to drive down to NC. It took us roughly five hours each way, but it was definitely worth the trip! We spent money on gas and food and little else. It was nice to skip out together on a sunny, Monday afternoon. I have a lot of vacation days racked up at work and I’d definitely like to spend a couple more this way.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I could do that with my husband but with our debt we’re trying not to do anything. Keep up the great work and if you have time, please visit my site ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks a ton.
