I Lost $100

September 18, 2010 by One Frugal Girl 4 Comments

That’s right. I came home from vacation weekend before last, piled up all the mail, opened all of the envelopes and set aside everything important. I found a $100 gift card in the stack and set it aside somewhere. The trouble is I can’t remember where somewhere is. I searched the house and can’t find that tiny Macy’s gift card anywhere.

I could kick myself. I can’t remember the last time I lost a chunk of money like this, but I am just sick about it. I looked in every drawer, purse and binder and simply can’t find that little gift card anywhere. For some reason I have a sinking feeling that $100 went out with this morning’s trash.

ARGH!

Ugh, I hate that! I just did it last Christmas with a $100 gift certificate. I'm being extra careful now!

I know I don't know you … but somehow I doubt it went out w/the trash. Think of the card as "on vacation." I'm keeping my fingers crossed it'll turn up soon!
