I understand how you feel because I too have tried to avoid negativity with those around me. It’s always a challenge because as much as you want to help people to change their outlook and be more positive, people will change only when they are ready and willing to change. All we can do is make the necessary arrangements to ensure that we have the things in our lives which bring us peace and happiness and put strict limits on any negative influences.
