We&#039;ve never had a pipe burst, but we did have leveling problems and a significant amount of water in the basement from a long, hard rain. We spent days drying out the area. Turning off the water is a great idea!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;@Evy - I haven&#039;t had the guts to try Priceline yet. I&#039;m glad to hear you&#039;ve been successful. What types of hotels have you stayed in? Mostly major chains?]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Have you tried Priceline for hotels? I had good luck with them last year for rooms in Philadelphia, San Antonio and Wash. DC. I usually choose the 4 star hotel category and have never paid more than $75 a night. We&#039;ve  always been pleased with the room and location. Thanks mostly to Priceline, DH and I can take about 5 weekend or short stay trips a year.]]></description>
