Oh I miss work some days. Not work necessarily but feeling smart. I’ve blogged about that a number of times. Oh and the $500K thing really irked me. I’m not sure why, but in my opinion you can’t complain if you can’t figure out how to put some of that money aside along the way.

I enjoy my job far too much because it gives me the adult interaction I crave based on my skills and intelligence.

I also think those women who don’t have anything saved while making $500K probably just didn’t think about the long term implications of their decision the way you did.

As for being 10 years out of the workforce you are most certainly irrelevant and will need an MBA or something to let you get a foot back in the door.
