My husband and I have vacationed @ Sunset Beach Island for the past 23 years; our kids were “vacation raised” on the SBI beach. We are leaving for SB tomorrow, renting for a week. While we are there we are looking at approx 30 homes for sale on/off island for future retirement. We did own a lot on the island, but sold it to purchase a lake house in northern WI – sold that this year and we’re off to NC to look for our “dream home.” Again, thanks so much for your postings. Can’t wait to get on that plane tomorrow!

We are renting a house inDuck that is close enough to walk into town, so I’m really looking forward to it. Although packing with 2 kids under 3 is quite an adventure in itself. I need a vacation just from the packing!
