Sorry, you may been scammed. That sucks, but lesson learned. I stick to cash for those kinds of things. I sold a used car thru auto trader, cash only. Hopefully the guy will come through, I try to stay an optimist.

Wow you all think I’ve been scammed. I sure hope not. Those are some awful stories. I’ll find out for sure by tomorrow afternoon. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the buyers will turn out to be honest men.

Ugh, I once took a check from someone on craigslist that 'forgot' her purse somewhere--made me wait ten minutes while I watched her 'search' her car. It was only $50, she had two of her little kids with her, and was sick and pregnant to boot (don't know why, but the fact that she was a mother and creating new life made her more credible to me). JUST THIS ONCE, I thought, I'll trust a stranger. I'll give someone a break...

Her check bounced. She never called me back when I followed up.

But I learned my lesson: cash ONLY.

I hope these people have a conscience and give you your money. Honestly, I don't know how people that pull that kind of thing live with themselves! I hate owing money and pay it off asap--I even pay my rent early! Good luck.

Don’t sell anything to anyone without cash or a cashier’s check. Yes, you are way too trusting and you only got paid for two tickets and that will be all of it. Report this to your local police do not wait any longer. Trust me!

Craigslist? It's full of scammers. No money, no ticket. Ruthlessness in ticket sales is ok.

One of my regular ticket buyers still owes me a check for tickets I sent her a month ago. (The game is next week.) I wonder if her check will show up before the game.

I can’t imagine he’d send you a check and if he actually does I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t bounce!

I’d like to believe most people are good and honest, but my guess is that you got fleeced. I hope he proves me wrong.
