Stockings on Christmas is such a foreign concept to me. My family always Celerated Saint Nick on December 5th. We would each get stockings hung on our doors and in the morning would find them filled with fruit, nuts, chocolates, money and a single small toy. I've googled this tradition before and each of the gifts had some meaning. This is definately a tradition I am going to carry on when I have children!
