You make an excellent point! I suppose every list is personalized based on where your child sleeps, how much milk you produce, etc. I thought my first son hated swaddling, but now I think the issue was related to the size and softness of the blanket. The Aden + Anais blankets worked when no other blankets would.

I also totally agree with having multiple changing stations. With my first we typically went upstairs. This time around we have a set of diapers, wipes and cream on every floor!

Thanks for commenting.

I like looking at these "must have" lists because they are always so different from person to person. I tried having both of my daughters sleep in my bedroom when they were newborns, but every little noise they made woke me up and worried me so they went into cribs in their own rooms right away. My oldest hated swaddling, and I must have been super lucky because I never needed breast pads at all!

The best thing we did for baby number 2 was set up the pack n play as a changing station on the ground floor of our house, so I didn't have to run upstairs for diaper changes. Our Baby Bjorn also got a lot of use.
