Beautifully stated. In my younger years I also held myself to unreasonable standards. Now I realize the practice of being grateful is stating my gratitude and recognizing it. I don’t need to write it all down to feel grateful!

I have kept a journal (gratitude and other kinds) from time to time and then I lay it down for months and feel guilty about the days I didn’t write. I decided that I was holding myself to an unreasonable standard (for me). Now I write when I feel like it, and don’t feel guilty when I forget. Hope your Thanksgiving was lovely-
