Oh - play kitchens are great! I notice little girls seem more interested in them then my son, but he definitely wonders over to his every so often to prepare a meal. Ours has a little burner that lights up and makes sounds and for awhile that was his favorite part, well that and opening each and every door :)

I'll have to check out the brain quest books. I bet my son would love those too.

We received a bunch of little people sets as hand-me-downs from my brother, but my son shows absolutely no interest in them. He does play with baby dolls I had as a kid and yes it is adorable to see him make soup to feed the baby or kiss his boo-boos :)

My daughter loves her play kitchen. She got it for Christmas last year when she was almost two and has played with it almost every day since then.

She also really likes these Brain Quest workbooks my husband picked up at Barnes and Noble. We actually have the preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade books. Some of the activities are a little advanced for her, but she loves to look at them. We keep them in the bathroom, and they are her potty books! It is funt o see her learn to do problems (things like mathcing, rhyming, telling very basic time) that she didn't understand just a few months ago.

My kids both love various little people sets we have! They make fun airplanes and farm sets, if you don't have them. Also, does he have a baby doll at all? I love seeing the nurturing instincts baby dolls bring out in all little ones!
