Most of them will still give you the sale price per unit even if you buy only 1, not 2 or 3. So if it’s 2 for $1, you could buy 1 for $.50. If it’s something that can last a long time and you know you’ll eat it, buying more than 1 is fine. But if it’s something that might go bad before you eat it, it’s not a smart deal.
