From my personal experience I’d rather just let it go then let it sit around with the intentions to sell it. Either list it, set up a garage sale or get it out of there! It helps that our donation center is less than 5 minutes away. Of course, if I had to drive farther I couldn’t have taken so many trips there!

I think there’s been a bag of donations in our trunk for months now, but we don’t actually drop it off. One day we’ll need trunk space and it will end up back in the house to repeat the cycle again.

When we moved we got rid of literal truckloads of junk. Really, it was impressive. But when we moved in, we still had enough for a decent impromtu garage sale. The clutter that’s left doesn’t bother me too much, but I’d really like it to be gone sooner than later.

It’s funny the differences between us all and decluttering sometimes. Simple Cheap Dad is pretty quick with the decision making process too.
