Thanks for your comment. It’s amazing what a little pause will do to break our habits isn’t it? I’m sorry that a pandemic has given me reason to reflect on those things I should appreciate, but I am thankful that when this is all over some of my habits will change for the better. I loved this post! Your thoughtful reflections give insight to what I believe most of us are feeling, thinking, and experiencing. I don’t have kids and am not married, but so much of what you’ve written applies to my life too. It tells you we’re not all so different. We’ve both wasted far too much time chasing grocery deals. I agree that will end for me too. And local businesses? They are a gift that I also want to support more. I think it’ll be fascinating to see what changes after this pandemic.

Hi Jewels. Thanks for writing this post. A lot of the things that you have mentioned are similar to what I am planning to do as well. This pandemic situation made me realize a lot of things that I want to change/improve in the way I live my life. And one of my major priority is to move to a rural area. I grew up in the capital city with almost 1.8 Million people and as I grow older, I realized that it’s not for me anymore especially after seeing how living in the city (especially if you’re not that rich) makes dealing with a pandemic much more difficult.

Love all of these! Unfortunately, I think we are still letting those veggie go bad. 🙁

One thing that I think will change for me is that I’ll connect virtually with friends after this. In many of my friend groups, we all live in different cities and typically only see each other a few times a year. Before this pandemic we have never considered getting together virtually. We now get together once a week and it’s amazing! I think we will continue to do so after this. Maybe just not as frequently.
