I’ve been trying to be good about using them. I set my reminders starting a month out and for restaurant ones I try to set a date with a friend after purchasing to use them. My husband is picky so I mainly use with girlfriends.

I have groupon VIP which allows me to return unused groupons. It costs a little extra, but I’ve totally made up that savings with just this feature. I like groupon better than Living Social, because at least groupon sends you the reminder e-mail. Living Social does not, so I gave up on them.

I thought everyone waits until the last minute, that’s why I refuse to buy them. Everyone says “It’s such a good deal” then I also hear “I was too late and let it expire” or “I completely forgot about it.”
