Oh it was so much better than going to that hot and sticky 4th of July parade with miserable kids 😉 We lounged poolside while the kids swam, played mini-golf and hung out in the game room. The best part of all though was watching the fireworks. We went out on the dock and watched eight or ten firework shows lighting up the horizon. They were far into the distance but still really cool to watch. It was so quiet and beautiful out on the water that a blue heron came out to join us. He perched a few feet away from us!
