The policy will be cheaper when someone makes it at an early age. Age is the main criteria that is included while calculating the policy price.

You have outstanding mortgages that your husband would have trouble paying without your income.

In my husband and my case, we have very little monthly expenses. Right now, I'm the sole earner in our home, and we're doing fine. If I died, he would have no problem paying the bills himself. If we ever incur debt, I'll reconsider this option. But we have no credit card debt. Student loan debt is discharged when you die… So I think paying for life insurance is a waste of money for us.
