I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Even though it's the closest to new I've ever owned, I bought it for $4,500 a year ago, and it only had 45,000 miles on it at the time of purpose! I could sell it today for $2,000 more than I spent on it two years ago! I would never buy a new car. Period.

Right now I use public transportation which is great because I don’t have to spend any money on transportation. However, I may be starting a new job outside of the city in a few months and I will probably buy my good friend’s 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. I don’t know for sure because it has a ridiculous amount of miles on it and he’ll be racking up some more driving from DC to Texas and back.
