I started blogging in 2005 and I switched to One Frugal Girl after about six months or so. I often think of switching back to that name or any other name since Frugality is not my focus anymore. That’s what stinks about choosing a name so many years ago.

Yes. There was a precursor to One Frugal Girl. Sometimes I think I should switch the name back, because I’m less about frugality these days. I’ve been blogging since 2005!

I don’t think I ever read you as One Lucky Girl but cant for the life of me remember how long ago it was when I finally stumbled on your blog (post 2009 when I got married I believe – I didn’t realize you’d been blogging for so long before that!). I unsubscribed from Groupon and the like for the exact reasons you mention. I’m a sucker for a “good deal,” and it’s taken me a long time to realize that the best deal is forgoing it in the first place.
