Every so often I pull out my iPhone and quietly listen to a series of guided meditation mp3s. I keep a journal beside the place where I sit and when I’m finished I write down the first thoughts that come to mind. Here are today’s thoughts.
- I took the long way home yesterday afternoon with three long-time friends. Note to self: take the long way home more often.
- A spur of the moment decision to get my family together turned into a wonderful evening and long lasting memories. Note to self: take time for the people that really matter.
- Life ebbs and flows. Ride the peaks in order to prepare for the valleys. Note to self: when you forget these things let a good friend remind you of them.
